In 1999, ChecknTrade started the development of a compliance tool; we created a business process model to monitor investment transactions. Only after thorough validation of the model, an automated solution was realised. This validation stage involved review by and discussion with prospect end users, business owners and representatives from regulatory bodies.

This approach enabled us to create a solution that has been validated by people with experience in this line of business. They inspired us and gave us insight in general compliance processes and the amount of flexibility needed to address today's issues and future developments the way they ought to be addressed.
